With the establishment, it is hoped that the Faculty of Economics and Muamalat will be another channel to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, skillful and professional in the field of  muamalat administration. Besides, it is also the aspiration of the University that the Faculty will uphold the principles of Islam by creating more opportunities for experts, intellects and scholars to research and investigate and eventually expand the knowledge of Islamic economy and muamalat.

The area of muamalat administration is one of the subjects that has been studied in the Islamic world since the era of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. It provides Muslims with guidance in human relationships as well as organises the structure of Human Resource Management.
The success of a nation is normally measured in terms of its godly faith but also in its effort to live life well. Todays world requires the modern and progressive Muslim to be competent in ‘tauhid’ and ‘syariah’ as well as muamalat knowledge in order to be successful in life hereafter.  Allah said:
“But seek, with the (wealth) which Allah has bestowed on thee, the Home of the Hereafter, nor forget thy portion in this world: but do thou good, as Allah has been good to thee, and seek not (occasions for) mischief in the land: for Allah loves not those who do mischief." (Al-Qasas:77).
Faculty Objective
The objectives of the Faculty are:
  • To organise world class, high quality research, studies and community service programmes in order to produce graduates, scholars and intellects who are well balanced in the aspects of knowledge, devotion towards Allah swt and dedication towards the country and the nation.
